Tech-Patches

Once you have a Tech-Bond Kit, either a Poly Kit to repair poly tanks and pipes like HDPE, nylon, polypropylene, etc., or one of the Starter Kits for stopping leaking PVC, copper, ABS, galvanized, aluminum and in any non-poly pipe or tank.  Choose the type of patch, G Series, XT, or PTFE, either the standard or Plus version, the thickness, 2 or 3, millimeter and the size of the patch needed.  Choose the quantify and then check out.

G Series Tech-Patches are for pipes and tanks not under pressure.   Neither of the patch surfaces are abraded maximizing the protection against weather, salt, grease, UV rays and most common chemicals.  G Series Tech-Patches .can be used to repair lawn mower gas tanks as long as only regular unleaded gas is used.  G Series Tech-Patches have over a 99% success rate.

XT Tech-Patches have a much higher resistance to pressure with a stress rating of 120 psi when used on a steel tank.  Since steel is one of the most difficult to materials to bond to, the psi rating on other pipe or tank substrates will be higher, in some cases much higher.  XT Tech-Patches have over a 99% success rate.

PTFE Tech-Patches repair holes and cracks in metal and plastic gas tanks.   To our knowledge PTFE Tech-Patches are the only permanent solution for the repair of plastic gas tanks.  Gasoline, especially high octane (aromatic) versions, will eat through, sooner or later, all other remedies on the market. . PTFE Tech-Patch are also recommended for the repair of large volume poly tanks because of the need for rigidity in the repair system.   The increased rigidity prevents the patch material (fluorosilicone) from bulging and failing.  PTFE Tech-Patches have over a 95% success rate.  Where there has been a problem is when the leak is on or around a seam or corner.
